![]() I’ve been a loyal SW customer for a long time, but have to really think about flying with them again. All you need to know about the in-flight product and safety on Southwest Airlines. We were very disappointed with the flight crews response to this situation, they seemed like they didn’t care at all and that it was an inconvenience for them to deal with. If the crew had the supplies to do a through cleaning as well as given us some type of voucher to use in the airport to get new clothes that might have prevented us from getting sick. In fact, Southwest Airlines has been 1 in the DOT Consumer Satisfaction Ranking for 22 of the last 26 years. We asked to be moved but no other seats were open, so we were stuck. They should have protocols in place to deal with situations like this. The flight crew came over with paper napkins to wipe it off.no disinfecting of any kind which was totally unacceptable. It was incredibly disgusting and although we did feel sorry for the guy, it was a mess. And then, once you get through the line and they take away your boarding pass and you think you are free to get on the plane, they randomly pick you or your spouse for additional security check, where two young women are waiting to go through your carry-on. ![]() Nobody enforces check-in line assignment positions, so people get in-line early and then if you are not there 30 minutes before even boarding begins, you need to push your way through the line demanding to see other people's assignment position. "The Southwest (sic) has no seat assignments, so if you want to seat with your spouse and/or children, you need to pay extra $15 per ticket to get a better place in check-in line.
